<p>This invention relates to a method for inactivating pathogens using the peroxidase enzyme. The peroxidase enzyme is reacted with hydrogen peroxide or a source of hydrogen peroxide and an iodide anion to generate reaction products which are separated from the peroxidase enzyme and then used to inactivate pathogenic organisms.</p> |
