<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance car security against theft in simple structure by providing a projection towards an exposed area from a back plate or a resin body near an engagement area of an inner lever of a ratchet. SOLUTION: When a car is key-operated and locked during parking time, if someone tries to break mischievously a lock device 1 by inserting some tool from outside a door, an actuator 23 is substantially covered with a back plate and a sub-plate 52, which does not allow the access of other apparatus except for only parts of an open lever 30 and part of a key lever 35, the tip of the other end of a ratchet lever 24 and an inner lever 46. Even the open lever is turned with some tool, it will be impossible to unlock in a locked state. Even when the key lever is turned, the key lever will not be turned except for key operation. Even when the ratchet lever or the inner lever is turned with a tool, the tool is guided to the projection of a riser of the back plate and a rib and escaped, it will be impossible to turn either of them.</p> |
