PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain safety by stopping an inverter in its early stages to neglect of a heating object vessel at a high temperature, by enclosing algorithm to perform prescribed operation in an operation processing means. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker is provided with a heating means (an inverter) 1 for heating cooking, a plate 3 on which a heating object vessel 2 is placed, a temperature detecting sensor 4 of the heating object vessel 2, an output detecting means 5 of the heating means 1, an input means 6 to set output of the heating means 1 and an operation processing means 7 to control the heating means 1 according to outputs of the temperature sensor 4, the input means 6 and the output detecting means 5. The operation processing means 7 is provided with at least first detecting algorithm to detect a using condition of the heating object vessel 2 according to respective output values of the temperature sensor 4, the output detecting means 5 and the input means 6, and when the heating object vessel 2 becomes equal to or higher than a prescribed temperature, whether the heating object vessel 2 is neglected at a high temperature or cooks food is discriminated by transferring to the first detecting algorithm. |
