PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a spectacle frame possible to be reduce in thickness and vertical width more when the temples are folded. SOLUTION: The vertex sides of the axial centers l1 , L2 of hinges 15, 16 respectively incline byθ/2 toward the front of front parts andθ/2+α,θ/2-αtoward the outer side thereof, whereθis the helix angle around the axial centers M1 , M2 of the bow side ends 171, 181 of the temples 17, 18 andαis a microangle of 0.5 to 1.0 deg.. In the state that the right and left temples 17, 18 are held folded, the temp. 17 inclined upward by the microangleαon its bow side end part 171 side and the temp. 18 inclined downward by the microangleαon its bow side end part 181 side. Namely, the axial center M1 of the temple 17 and the axial center M2 of the temple 18 are paralleled with each other and the overlap of the temples 17, 18 on each other is lessened. The folding of the spectacles 1 thin over the entire part is made possible.
