Chimney flue of stacked lightweight components

A building flue consists of a stack of joined coaxial components (7,10,11,19) made of fire resistant material and having openings for receiving a waste gas pipe (9), the novelty being that the components consist of a waterglass-bonded granular silicate-contg. material (pref. based on vermiculite, esp. in expanded form) and are treated with a silicon-contg. water-proofing agent. Pref. the components are joined together by a waterglass-based adhesive. Also claimed are (i) a component for producing the above flue; and (ii) a building with an installed heating system having a waste gas system equipped with the above flue.
