PURPOSE:To reproduce a stereo sound with full of presence with a home use television receiver by mixing an L channel sound signal and a center channel sound signal, and also an R channel sound signal and the center channel sound signal by a prescribed mixture ratio respectively, and reproducing the result by L and R 2-channel speakers. CONSTITUTION:L, R and center channel digital sound signals from a sound decoder 2 in a 3-1 stereo broadcast mode in the High Vision broadcast sound reproduction system are respectively multiplied with coefficients to be converted into a prescribed level of sound volumes by coefficient multipliers 3, 5-7 and the outputs are added at mixers 8, 9 by a prescribed mixture ratio. The added digital sound signals are subject to D/A conversion as the L, R channel sound signals and reproduced from L, R speakers 17, 18, built in a television receiver. Thus, the 3-1 stereo broadcast is easily reproduced even by a High Vision television receiver on market in which two left/right speakers are installed integrally with the reference voltage. |
