PURPOSE:To provide a highly advanced water purifying treatment method by which trihalomethanes where the halogen include chloline or bromine are removed highly efficiently. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a highly advanced water purifying treatment method involving an ozone treatment and a granular activated carbon treatment added to water purifying treatment steps including a flocculation and precipitation step, a sand-filtration step, and a chlorine sterilization step, the chloride ion concentration in practical raw water is monitored continuous by a chloride ion concentration monitor 8. When the concentration is high, the granular activated carbon treatment in the highly advanced purifying treatment method is carried out in two processes; in a biological activated carbon treatment tank 3 and in a granular activated carbon adsorption treatment tank 7. |
