PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling fan device which permits reduction of overall height (or overall width) and further its manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The cooling fan device comprises a housing 102, a rotor 104 attached in such a manner that the rotor is freely rotatable relative to the housing 102, a plurality of blades 132 formed on the rotor 104, rotor magnets 150 placed on the inside surface of the rotor 104, a stator 152 attached to the housing 102 opposite to the rotor magnets 150, and a circuit board body 112 for supplying the coil 160 of the stator 152 with current. The circuit board body 112 forms part of the housing 102, and thus reduction in the size of the fan device is accomplished. |
