FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: mixed are: rubber (chloroprene rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, chlorinated rubber, or polybutadiene), bitumen, antioxidant, modifying additive (salicylic acid), filler, and, additionally, curing agent and synthetic resin. Prior to be mixed with bitumen, rubber is dispersed in organic solvent with antioxidant, mixture is then stirred for 15-20 min, other components are added, and stirring is continued for further 30-60 min. All operation are carried out at 20 to 60 C. Amounts of all components are specified. EFFECT: improved waterproofing properties. 5 cl, 3 tbl
