FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: material that can be used for roofings, including church domes and roofs, and for interior and exterior finishing contains base of aluminum or aluminum alloys, aluminum oxide layer, and, additionally, at least one decorative layer including more than 50% nitrides and/or oxides and/or carbides of metals from the group containing titanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, the rest being I-VIII group metals and III-VI group nonmetals. Under decorative layer, material additionally has layer of metal or metals selected from group including copper, nickel, iron, cobalt, chromium, titanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum, tungsten. According to another version, decorative layer is covered with layer of gold or its alloy, or rhodium or its layers, or transparent protective coating made of material selected from group including carbon, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, polyacrylate, polyurethane, fluorinated polymers, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, hafnium oxide, and hafnium nitride.
