An aqueous reactive 2-component binding agent combination (I) for aqueous reactive surface fillers (II) comprises (A) an aqueous dispersion and/or emulsion of a copolymer and (B) a free isocyanate group containing polyisocyanate. Independent claims are included for: (i) an aqueous reactive surface filler (II) comprising (A), (B) having a viscosity of 10-20,000 mPas at 23 deg C and a functionality of 1.5-7.5, (C) a pigment and/or filler, optionally (D) processing aids and additive. (E) oligomers and/or polymers in the form of aqueous solutions, dispersions and/or emulsions and (F) water and/or organic solvents whereby the weight ratio of resin to pigment/filler is 1:1.3-1:20; and (ii) a process for the production of (II) by mixing (A), (C), optionally (D), (E) and up to 20 wt.% (F) in an appropriate device to form at least 85 wt.% of (I) followed by the addition of up to 15 wt.% of a polyisocyanate cross-linking agent (B) to form a homogeneous mixture.
