摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep rigidity of cooling element of a multi-plate type oil cooler without using any surplus parts, reduce its weight and facilitate its production. SOLUTION: Both ends of a downward-faced pan-like section 11a of an upper plate 11 are provided with upward-faced pipe sections 11b acting as either an oil inlet or an oil outlet. Each of the pipe sections 11b is formed with a drawn worked protrusion 11c at its outside position. Both ends of an upward-faced pan-like section 12a of a lower plate 12 are provided with downward-faced pipe sections 12b. Each of the pipe sections 12b is formed with a drawn notch 12c at its outside position. The upper plate 11 and the lower plate 12 are abutted to each other to make a single tube member through a corrugated fin plate 13. Each of the lower surfaces of the downward-faced pipe sections 12b and drawn notches 12c at both ends of the lower plate of an upper stage tube member is connected to each of the upper surfaces of the upward-faced pipe sections 11b at both ends of the upper plate and a drawn protrusion 11c of a lower stage tube member, respectively, and a plurality of stages of tube members are laminated, column members comprised of the drawn protrusions 11c and the drawn notches 12c are formed at both ends of the laminated tube member to apply rigidity to the cooling element.
