摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display clearly wear of a bearing in the axial direction by recognizing whether movement of a rotor in the axial direction is a movement with in a range of play or a movement causing bearing wear. SOLUTION: A voltage induced in an axial direction detection coil is subjected to differential amplification by a differential amplification circuit, which outputs a positive or negative voltage signal corresponding to the moving direction and the moving position of the rotor to a stator. According to the polarity of the voltage signal from the amplifier circuit, a dead zone circuit 77 outputs a signal corresponding to the amplitude of the voltage signal when comparison circuits 72, 74 decide that the voltage signal is larger than a comparison signal from a comparison signal generating circuit 76. The amplitude of the comparison signal from the generating circuit 76 is set corresponding to the play of the rotor in the axial direction. According to outputs of signals from the comparison circuits 72, 74, axial direction wear display units 63, 64 do not display the movement of the rotor in the axial direction corresponding to the play of the rotor but display only the amount of movement of the rotor in the axial direction which is caused by bearing wear.</p>
