<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable sealing device capable of maintaining good sealing properties by allowing moderate absorption to be performed in a relatively wide range in the case where the relative movement of a long member such as a cable with respect to an external wall is caused in any direction by an earthquake and the like. SOLUTION: The sealing device for a building seals an opening 13 formed in the external wall of the building with the portion passing through a cable 10. An extendable bellows type cover 21 covering the cable 10 is erected across the opening 13 and a flange 20 mounted on the cable 10. A plurality of annular aggregates 23 are connected at intervals in the direction of extension to the inner periphery of the cover 21, and a plurality of pantograph-type extendable mechanisms 31, 32, 33, 34 are disposed at intervals in a peripheral direction. The mechanisms 31, 32, 33, 34 allow both end parts in the direction of extension to be connected to the opening 13 and the flange 20.</p> |
