<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of interruption of ring broadcasting transmission caused by a specific incoming mode as much as possible. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine calculates a rate of reception of information transmitted by ring broadcasting transmission to reception of information; and when the calculated rate reaches a prescribed value (for example, 0.5) or higher, a message to prompt a user to switch a manual incoming mode to an automatic incoming mode is displayed on a display means if the manual incoming mode is set as the incoming mode. The rate of reception of information transmission by ring broadcasting transmission to reception of information is calculated by counting the frequency of reception of information and counting the frequency of reception of information transmitted by ring broadcasting transmission.</p> |
