PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a hardened body wherein the uniform hardened body can be manufactured from a paper-making sludge. SOLUTION: The concentration of a material solution containing the paper- making sludge is regulated by a concentration regulator 10. Then, the material solution is strained using a water-straining body 22A. Thus, on the surface of the water-straining body 22A, the strained body of the paper-making sludge is adhered. At the same time, the strained body is transferred to a carrying belt 26, and the transferred strained body is hardened, and a hardened body 1 of the paper-making sludge is obtained. In this case, the thickness of the strained body is measured by a measuring device 25. When the thickness is too thin, the concentration of the material solution is increased, and when the thickness is too thick, the concentration is decreased. Thus, an organic fibrous content in the material solution becomes uniform, and the hardened body 1 can be uniformly manufactured.
