PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of easily executing the work in connecting pipes for changing a position of a feed pipe in repairing a water appliance, and fastening a connecting joint for the feed pipe and the feed pipe by means of a torque wrench with desired fastening strength. SOLUTION: This tool used in connecting an existing feed pipe 15 stood under a floor with a new feed pipe (not shown in a drawing) stood on the floor, is formed into the C-shape on its cross section by an approximately horizontal fastening part 4 fitted to a box nut 8 connecting the existing feed pipe 15 and the new feed pipe, an approximately horizontal extension part 1 having a projection 2 to be engaged with a wrench 6 at its upper part, and a connecting part 3 for vertically connecting the fastening part 4 and the extension part 2, and a rotary shaft of the fastening part 4 and a rotary shaft of the extension part are coaxially mounted.
