SUBJECT POSITIONING METHOD AND X-RAY CT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject positioning method and an X-ray CT device, adapted to correctly position a subject before stating scanning. SOLUTION: The subject positioning method for the X-ray CT device which has an X-ray tube 40 and an X-ray detector 70 mutually opposed across a subject for restructuring a CT tomographic image of the subject in accordance with projection data collected from the X-ray detector, comprises predicting an X-ray focal point zOF in the case of starting scanning in accordance with X-ray tube temperature and scanning conditions (scanning parameters in axial/ stationary scanning) available before stating scanning and irradiating the subject 100 with a positioning light beam BLOF corresponding an actual slicing position SOF of the subject predicted in accordance with the obtained X-ray focal point zOF to permit the accurate positioning of the subject 100 before starting scanning.
