PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can enhance data communication efficiency, in the case of conducting data communication where a data quantity in an outgoing direction from a base station to a mobile station is more than a data quantity in an incoming direction, from the mobile station to the base station. SOLUTION: The base station assigns many slots as transmission slots or reception slots, in such a way that the number of the transmission slot in the outgoing direction from the base station to the mobile station B is larger than number of the reception slot in the incoming direction from the mobile station B to the base station, in the case of data communication with the mobile station B. Thus, the data communication time in the outgoing direction is made relatively longer than the data communication time in the incoming direction, so that the data communication efficiency can be enhanced in the case of the data communication, where the data quantity in the incoming direction is larger than the data quantity in the outgoing direction.
