PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi cell lead battery with control valve of which, a metallic sensor electrode does not corrode during use, welding operation of a battery container with a lid and a sensor terminal is easy, and a liquid sealing property can be secured. SOLUTION: A sensor terminal 5 is housed inside a battery container separation wall 2 separating plural number of cell chambers 3, 3, and the sensor terminal 5 is conductively connected to a connection conductor 8 connecting middle pole posts 7, 7'of adjacent cell chambers 3, 3, which have different polarity from each other, at the inside of a penetration hole 4 of the battery container separation wall 2, and an end 5b of which protrudes from the side surface of a battery container 1 outward.
