PURPOSE: A process of preparing bean sprouts by laying a standardized tray made of mesh on the bottom surface of a jar for growing sprouts and seeding therein is provided, which makes it easy to pack the grown bean sprouts into a tray unit and wash and remove fine roots therefrom. CONSTITUTION: A standardized tray in which a mesh is formed is laid on the bottom surface of a jar for growing sprouts(14), a given weight of bean seed is allowed to place in the tray and supply moisture thereto to take fine roots(15) thereon. The method produces healthier, crisper, better tasting and well formed bean sprouts in a high yield from a given weight of bean seed placed in the sprout container tray. |
