PORTRAIT DRAWING COMPUTER SYSTEM BASED ON CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

摘要

PURPOSE: A portrait drawing computer system based on character description is provided to define each part of a portrait's face according to the intention of a user through a description rather than a graphic selection. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a main control module(41), an input device(20) under the control of the main control module which inputs a character description of the characteristic sets of a face forming the portrait in accordance with the user's specification, a character-graphic mapping table(43) storing many graphic images representing the actual characteristics of the face and mapping each graphic image to a characteristic of specific face defined by the user through the input device, a graphic recovery module(42) recovering the graphic images corresponding to each character description of the user-defined face characteristics, and a portrait synthesizing module(44) synthesizing all recovered images into an integrated drawing in order to represent an intended portrait.
