PURPOSE: A compatible battery pack charger is provided, in which a movable resting plate is arranged to accommodate battery packs with different sizes, to thereby reduce cost for terminal replacement. CONSTITUTION: A charger comprises a main body having an upper casing frame(10) and a lower casing frame(20); a contact pin(42) for connection of the terminal positioned at the rear surface of a battery pack(40); and a PCB for grounding of the contact pin. The upper casing frame includes the first resting portion(11) for charging the battery pack mounted to a terminal, and the second resting portion(12) for charging the battery pack isolated from a terminal. A resting plate(30) is arranged between the upper casing frame and the lower casing frame in such a manner that the resting plate is movable downward along the battery pack located in the second resting portion. The resting plate has a guide pin(31) protruded downward from the bottom surface of the resting plate so as to guide the movement of the resting plate in a vertical direction. The lower casing frame has a boss(21) with a guide hole(22) for guiding the guide pin of the resting plate. A spring(14) is arranged between the guide pin and the boss so as to press upward the resting plate.
