PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism of a rotor capable of preventing backlash of the rotor in a comparatively simple mechanism to stabilize the rotation and an image forming apparatus having it. SOLUTION: This driving mechanism 110 of a rotor has the rotor 101, a driving source 5 for driving the rotor 101, a first transmitting means 34, 36, 37, 38 for transmitting the driving force of the driving source 5 to the rotor 101, and a second transmitting means 39, 40 for transmitting the driving force of the driving source 5 to the rotor 101 through a different route from the first transmitting means 34, 36, 37, 38. The second transmitting means 39, 40 apply load to the drive of the rotor 101 using the first transmitting means 34, 36, 37, 38. The image forming apparatus has the above driving mechanism. |
