PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus which can prevent users' conversation from being disturbed and can prevent as much as possible a quantity of information to be originally transmitted by voice guidance to users from being reduced. SOLUTION: There are provided setting means 33 and 34 to which a guide voice pronunciation condition designated by the user is set, an utterance state- detecting means 23 for detecting an utterance state of the user, a voice guidance execution-decision means 36 for deciding at a point where the guidance by voice is to be executed on the basis of one or both of the condition and the utterance state whether or not a guide voice is to be pronounced, and a pronouncing means 24 for pronouncing the guide voice on the basis of the decision result. |
