YELLOW EARTH BRICK COMPOSITION USING OYSTER SHELL AND MANUFACTURE OF YELLOW EARTH BRICK

摘要

PURPOSE: A yellow earth brick composition using oyster shell is provided, which has high compression strength and yellow earth characteristics such as far infrared emission, temperature and humidity control and deodorization. CONSTITUTION: The yellow earth brick is manufactured by the following steps of: mixing 5-40wt.% of CaO(<=200mesh) recycled by washing shells, powdering and sintering at 500-1300deg.C, 20-60wt.% of yellow earth activated by drying at 300-980deg.C(heating rate 1.5-5.0deg.C/min.) and holding 1-5hrs., 20-60wt.% of blast furnace slag, and 1-20wt.% of TiO2; controlling water content to be 5-25%; compression forming it; drying it at 10-100deg.C for 1-3days.
