PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of properly executing printing, maintenance and ink supply when a line head is employed, furthermore, to downsize the device, and to print with varied resolutions. SOLUTION: A printing means has a plurality of line heads 30, and each line head 30 has a print head 32 for ejecting ink for each color tone, an ink storage part for supplying ink to the ink head 32, and a head control substrate for controlling ink ejection. Printing on a sheet, maintenance of the print head, and supplying of ink to the ink storage part are performed by rotating the plurality of line heads 30 round a shaft 11. |
