PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a preheater for raw materials on a structural strength in a high temperature range, bring the apparatus to be excellent in mass production and further to be compact. SOLUTION: This plate type reforming apparatus comprises a plate type reformer 6 made by alternatively laying a reforming chamber Re and a heating chamber Co in the vertical direction and accelerating heat transfer of spaces between the vertical units with tabular plates, a heat insulator 20 installed to the plate reformer 6 to prevent heat exchange, a heat conduction plate 18 and a raw material pre-heater 16 the peripheral surface of which is brought to have a welded structure and in which heat conduction plates 18 for accelerating each of gases 4, 7 are laminated in the main body 17 of a heat exchanger for heat exchanging a raw gas 4 to be reformed and a reformed gas 7, while fins 19 are arranged between each plate 18 without brazing. The raw material pre-heater 16 is fixed to the plate type reformer 6 through the heat insulator 20. |
