<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splicing unit superior in wiring workability of optical fibers. <P>SOLUTION: The splicing unit 1 is composed of a unit body 2 and an outer chassis 3, with the front of the unit body 2 being openably butterflied of an adapter panel 11 provided with a large number of adapters 10, and the unit body 2 is slidably stored, in the front and rear directions in the outer chassis 3 opening to the front. A latch 24 is provided on the lower part of the front of the unit body 2 and can be held so as not to be sprung when being stored in the outer chassis 3; in addition, a rod-like stopper 28 fixed on the outer chassis 3 is inserted in a slot 29 of a rail 20 of the lower face of the unit body 2 which is provided so as not to slip off, when the unit body 2 is pulled out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
