<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method, which enables an electronic apparatus to automatically initiate an operation at reserved time without an operator attendant. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises: a power-on means 13, which powers up the apparatus through a clock start power-up signal 12 derived by a timer; a timer 15 and a reserved time storing means 16 for storing the reserved time, both of which are provided in an electric power reserve area 14; a signal generator 17 for generating signals, by comparing the predetermined time with a current time; and a signal memory means 18 for storing the signals for each power-up signal type. The apparatus generates a power-up signal 12 derived by the timer, when the timer matches with the time stored in the memory means 16. A program selection executing means of the apparatus for selecting the program that is combined with the programs as a part of the programs to be loaded, right after the power is on: checks an inside of the signal memory means 18; determines whether the cause of the power-on is caused manually 11 or by the power-up signal 12; and executes a reserved program, if the result is decided by initiating the power-up signal 12 started by the timer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
