PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser donor element capable of transferring an image without color contamination by another component contained in the element. SOLUTION: The laser donor element comprises (a) a hydrophilic layer, (b) a propellant layer containing a gas formable polymer capable of generating a gas by heating by a laser and an infrared absorption substance covered with a polar solvent having an Et value of 0.1 to 1.0, and (c) a coloring agent transfer layer containing a coloring agent dispersed in a binder, sequentially arranged on a transparent support in this order. |
