The underside of the worktop (1) is provided with a cavity (4) on the side facing the hole (3) for the draining board (2). The upper side of the cavity extends substantially parallel to the top side of the worktop and the draining board is fixed against this upper side by a clamping device (13) in the cavity. An Independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a draining board in a stone worktop using a clamping device.
