<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal which can update service area information, and connect with the most optimal radio base station for each service area when a service area is newly added for a mobile communication terminal which automatically control power supply to a radio communication part according to whether the terminal exists in the service area or not. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal receives transmitted data from a GPS satellite or a mobile telephone base station, acquires present position information of the own terminal, automatically starts a radio communication part when the own terminal moves in a service area, and makes connection setting corresponding to the area. Moreover, when the mobile communication terminal moves out of the registered service area, if the radio communication becomes impossible, the terminal stops power supply to the radio communication part, and if the radio communication is possible, the terminal automatically and newly adds and registers the position information and the connection setting information of the radio base station in the position to the radio base station connection information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
