<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe slip-off preventing device for a union nut coupling, facilitating hand-fastening and increased-fastening work, facilitating forming of the respective parts, and facilitating work for performing attachment and removal. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe slip-off preventing device 1 is used for a pipe joint using a union nut 5. The pipe slip-off preventing device 1 is composed of: a stop ring 4 externally mounted on a joining pipe 3 on the rear end side from the union nut 5 to be tightened by a bolt 10 and a nut 11; a locking lug part 9 projected on the outer peripheral surface of the stop ring 4; an annular recessed part 12 provided on the union nut 5; a locking metal fitting 2 of a front plate shape, which is freely engaged and disengaged with and from the annular recessed part 12; and an arm 14 fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the locking metal fitting 2 and provided with a hook 13 at the tip to engage with the locking lug part 9 of the stop ring 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
