<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burst signal regenerating method by which signal regeneration performance with respect to an extinction ratio that an optical input signal has is improved. <P>SOLUTION: An output signal photoelectrically converted by an optical module 10 is inputted to an ATC-IC 20, an input buffer 22 adjusts a level, and a signal converted to a positive phase by a gain buffer (low gain) 24 is branched into two, one signal is inputted to a peak detecting circuit 52 to input its peak value as a threshold to a gain buffer (high gain) 26, the other signal of the two branched signals is inputted to the gain buffer (high gain) 26 and amplified, and the positive-phase output and negative-phase output of the gain buffer (high gain) 26 are inputted to an ATC circuit 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
