PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording body, in which the change of a colored shade (a color taste) at the recording and with the time ranging from low recording density to high recording density is small, which is excellent in a resistance to ground fogging and the maximum density of the recorded part of which is very high. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording body having a heat sensitive coloring layer including composite particles of leuco dyes and polyurea or polyurea polyurethane resin and a coloring agent on at least on one side of a support, as the leuco dyes in the composite particles, the leuco dye A having the maximum length absorption peak wavelength of 400 to 620 nm and the leuco dye B having the maximum length absorption peak wavelength of 620 to 750 nm in the spectral absorption wavelength of 400 to 750 nm in a 1.0×10-3 (mol/L) stannic chloride in methanol solution are employed in combination under the condition that 3 to 30 wt.% of the leuco dye B is employed to the leuco dye A. |
