A mobile communication terminal with an automatic data transmission function and an operating method thereof are provided to allow stored data to be automatically transmitted to the outside through a mobile communication network or over the Internet at set time, thereby solving deficiency of a storage space for a small-capacity memory. A memory(20) is equipped. A communication module(30) transmits data over the Internet or through a mobile communication network. A controller(10) controls so that the data stored in the memory(20) is automatically transmitted to an external storage device of the Internet or the mobile communication network at set time through the communication module(30). The external storage device is a storage space such as a web hard disk, a web disk or an FTP(File Transfer Protocol) server whose certain parts are allocated to a registered user as a server connected to the Internet.
