A work inspection apparatus is provided to inspect five external appearances of a work by a simple mechanism during transfer of the work. A work inspection apparatus includes a plurality of rotational tables(31) having a plurality of work accommodating units to accommodate every one work(w) on every outer rim and to transfer the same, a transferring device to suction and maintain the works accommodated in the work accommodating units and to transfer the works out of the rotational tables, and an inspection device to inspect the outer appearances of the works transferred from the rotational tables. After the rotational tables rotate and positions of the work accommodating units are determined, the transfer device transfers the works in the work accommodating units to the outside of the rotational tables, and therefore the inspection device inspects the outer appearances of the works. The transfer device is a suction nozzle(28) to suck the works and to move forward and backward in the direction perpendicular to the surfaces of the rotational tables.
