PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus and its program capable of making displayed image data to be viewed by a user, and capable of acquiring a special effect. SOLUTION: If selection is made to a subliminal mode (Y in the S11), image data which are designated by the user from among pieces of image data registered as subliminal images are to be selected (S13). Then an interval which is designated by the user is to be set as a display interval (S14). A through image, a still image, and a motion picture are made to be displayed at the time of displaying the through image, at the time of reproducing the still image, and at the time of reproducing the motion picture, while the selected image data are made to be displayed as the subliminal image by the set display interval.
