PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a lining material which can ensure favorable sound absorbing performance, in addition, can prevent a binder from bleeding to the surface, and can suppress the increase of manufacturing manhours. SOLUTION: In a ceiling member 10, one of base material sheets 11 formed of a foamed resin is overlaid with a porous sheet 12 and a skin material sheet 14. The other of the base material sheets 11 is overlaid with the porous sheet 12, a sheet-form hot melt adhesive 15 and a rear surface material sheet 16. When the ceiling member 10 is manufactured, first, the porous sheet 12 is stacked on both surfaces of the base material sheet 11 to which a polyisocyanate, water and a catalyst have been applied. Next, the skin material sheet 14 is stacked on the surface of one of the porous sheets 12, and, the rear surface member sheet 16 is stacked on the surface of the other porous sheet 12 through the sheet-form hot-melt adhesive 15.
