PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode capable of preventing fracture of a collector, and of improving energy density of a battery. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by composing this electrode comprising: a collector made of metal foil having a grain boundary angle of 0-85°or 95-180°when it is defined that the grain boundary angle is the maximum integration value when the angles between the direction of the maximum length of metal crystalline structure particles and the longitudinal direction of the collector are integrated for all the particles in a cut surface of the collector; and an active material layer formed on the collector.
