A system and a method for protecting EC trading are provided to perform a payment process smoothly between a buyer and a seller, and make the seller expect a return intention of the buyer by basically removing time delay occurring in a user delivery confirmation process in an escrow system. A shopping mall server(3) enables a buyer terminal(1) to buy and pay goods. A paid goods price is transferred to an account fixed by a third service system(2), and the third service system transmits payment information to the shopping mall server and a matching service system(5). The shopping mall server requests a delivery company to deliver the goods to the buyer by transmitting purchase/payment information to a deliver company system(6) and transmits the related information to the matching service system. The buyer receiving the goods transmits goods reception confirmation or the return intention to the matching service system through the delivery company system. The matching service system informs the third service system, the shopping mall system, and the buyer terminal of delivery completion if the information received from each system is matched. The third service system transfers the goods price to the shopping mall server.
