Compounds (I) containing residues of di- or tri-saccharides; polyvalent alcohols and fatty alcohol are new. Compounds of formula (I) are new A-(B) x-C (I) A : reducing di- or tri-saccharide, glycosidically linked at 1 position with B; B : polyvalent alcohol with 2-4C, or its derivative; C : linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated fatty alcohol residue with 8-22, preferably 8-14 or 14-22, best 20, C atoms, where B is etherified with C; x : 1-50. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) surfactant or emulsifier systems (X) that include (I); (2) cosmetic, cleaning (domestic or technical), food and foaming.foamable compositions that contain (I) or (X); and (3) two methods for preparing (I). |
