PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image forming device having a plural-surface transfer function capable of restraining toner consumption at the time of paper end. SOLUTION: This digital image forming device is equipped with an image forming means forming a toner image on a transfer medium by writing an image on the transfer medium and developing the written image with toner, an intermediate transfer medium to which the toner image formed on the transfer medium is transferred further and which carries the transferred image on plural surfaces, a paper supply means supplying transfer paper, and a control means supplying the transfer paper to the transfer position of the intermediate transfer medium and forming the image on the transfer paper by controlling the respective means. The device is equipped with a storage means capable of storing inputted image data by as much as at least one surface and a storage control means controlling the storage means. The storage control means stops accessing the storage means when the transfer paper to which the images for second and succeeding surfaces are transferred is used up in the case of forming the image in a mode in which the number of the image-formed surfaces on the intermediate transfer body is plural. |
