A secondary battery is provided to increase the mounting space of a side cover and to allow a secondary battery to be combined with other products easily by controlling the curvature of appearance. A secondary battery comprises a bare cell which comprises a can accommodating an electrode assembly and a cap assembly sealing the can; a protection circuit assembly which comprises a lead electrode part electrically connecting the bare cell, and a protection circuit board electrically connected with the lead electrode part and containing charge/discharge terminals and test terminal; and a resin molding part which comprises a base cover(320), a side cover(310) and a bonding part(330). The base cover surrounds the some part of the protection circuit assembly so as to allow at least some part of the charge/discharge terminals and the test terminal to be shown, and is formed at the side part of the bare cell; the side cover is formed at the narrow side part of the bare cell, insulates the some part of the part where the bare cell and the lead electrode part are electrically connected and has a curvature part; and the bonding part combines the base cover, the side cover and the protection circuit assembly. |
