<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, capable of making a user select a desired copy paper in advance and providing a printed matter with a cover and a content surely matched to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The user selects the copy paper (S11). A control part detects the direction and size of paper stored in a selected cassette (S12), detects the direction and size of a cover stored in a manual feeding part (S13), and determines whether or not the direction and size of the paper stored in the selected cassette is matched to those of the cover stored in the manual feeding part (S14). When matching is determined (YES in S14), printing is executed using the paper in the selected cassette.
