SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTO-MANAGING NUMBER OF LINE

A system and a method for automatically managing number of optical fiber lines are provided to track/analyze performance value collecting on a real time basis or monthly. An optical power about an optical path is monitored on a real time basis. Each monitoring unit(110-1~110-n) of the monitoring units(110) measures the performance date toward the state of the optical path. A control unit(133) of the line number managing unit(130) receives the system information about a plurality of optical cables inputted from the management terminal(300) through the transceiver(131). The control unit updates the information in the database unit(135). According to the updated information as described above, the control unit processes the line number management/editing query by the management terminal. An input/output interface(137) transmits the measured performance date as described above with the management terminal. In case there is a problem in the corresponding line number, an output unit(170) outputs a warning message.
