PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can secure drainage performance even after the tire is worn to suppress occurrence of a hydro-planing phenomenon and maintain excellent steering stability performance.SOLUTION: At a tread part 1 is provided a widened main groove 10 constituted of an inner wall face 11, an outer wall face 12 and a bottom face 13, and the inner wall face 11 and the outer wall face 12 are constituted of an inner wall-face upper part 11a and an outer wall-face upper part 12a respectively inclining toward inside in a width direction of the widened main groove 10 and an inner wall-face lower part 11b and an outer wall-face lower part 12b respectively inclining toward the opposite direction of the direction of the upper parts. Distances h1 and h2 from a surface of the tread part, of connection points 11p and 12p at which the upper parts and the lower parts of the wall faces 11 and 12 are connected are made different from each other. Groove widths of the widened main groove 10 at the times when the groove is worn by 50%, 80% and 100% are respectively made larger than virtual groove widths at corresponding positions of virtual grooves configured on extension lines of the inner wall-face upper part 11a and the outer wall-face upper part 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
