PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a three-dimensional image display device based on a parallax barrier scheme with which it is possible to recognize an excellent three-dimensional image even when a visual line has moved and in which no moire occurs in even two-dimensional display.SOLUTION: Provided is a display device in which a liquid crystal parallax barrier panel is disposed on a display panel, the display device being characterized in that each of pixels 80R, 80G, 80B are arrayed at a first pitch ppv in the longitudinal direction and arrayed at a second pitch in the lateral direction, and the parallax barrier has such a configuration that a liquid crystal is held between a first substrate in which electrodes are formed in planar form and a second substrate in which is formed a barrier electrode 110 extending in a first direction and arrayed at a third pitch in the lateral direction, the second pitch being larger than 2 × third pitch, the barrier electrode 110 extending in the first direction while repeating a curvature with a wave height h and a pitch pw, the pitch pw of the barrier electrode 110 corresponding to the first pitch ppv of pixels in the relation of npw, where n is an integer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19 |
