PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a more proper throttle flow characteristic and avoid unnecessary reconsideration processing.SOLUTION: When an engine is controlled to be idled, if a racing action is detected during fuel cut, a counter C is retained (S120). In a hybrid vehicle, the racing action may be performed during idling control, and the fuel cut may be made. In this case, when the counter C is incremented along with the fuel cut and reconsideration processing is performed on a throttle flow characteristic, the throttle flow characteristic becomes improper. Therefore, in this case, the counter C is retained despite the fuel cut in order to prevent the reconsideration processing from being erroneously performed on the throttle flow characteristic.
